These stylish necklace feature a coin with a calligraphic impression of an old Persian coin. Coins are often worn as decorative elements forming parts of headdresses, hats and clothes. The textured coin and the bezel are finished in gold vermeil.

Amazonite is a captivating green to bluish-green variety of microcline, a feldspar mineral. It has been used for centuries in jewellery with some of the earliest examples found in ancient Egyptian artifacts. Found in locations such as Brazil, Russia, Madagascar, and the United States.

Its name is taken from that of the Amazon River, from which green stones were formerly obtained, though it is unknown whether those stones were amazonite.
