These stylish earrings feature a coin with a calligraphic impression of an old Persian coin. Coins are often worn as decorative elements forming parts of headdresses, hats and clothes. The textured coin and the bezel are finished in gold vermeil.

Pearl is an organic material, formed when an irritant enters a mollusk shell. Its characteristic iridescent surface sheen is due to these overlapping layers. These pearls are cultured freshwater pearls, meaning an irritant has been purposely added to the mollusk to start the natural formation process.

Pearl has generally been known as the stone of sincerity, symbolising purity whilst bringing truth and loyalty.

Care: As with all gemstones, care must be taken. It is not advised to place pearl in an ultrasonic, steam cleaner or chemical cleaning solution. Pearl can be easily cleaned with an untreated cloth. It is advised to avoid exposing pearl to prolonged periods of heat and light.
